Chaitanya Mathur, a visionary entrepreneur with over 17 years of experience in hospitality and experiential marketing, is revolutionizing India's premium dining landscape through Ninecamp Ventures. Born and raised with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, Chaitanya pursued his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick (2007-2010), which laid the foundation for his understanding of business dynamics and consumer behavior. His journey into the events and hospitality industry began early, working extensively with entertainment and event brands including Excited Monkey Entertainment and music portal Banging Beats.

Chaitanya's entrepreneurial breakthrough came when he co-founded The Grub Fest, one of India's largest and most successful food festivals that brought together culinary excellence, music, and community engagement. His visionary approach to experiential marketing caught the attention of Zomato, where he played a pivotal role in launching Zomato Live and creating Zomaland, the company's groundbreaking experiential dining and entertainment platform. As Global Head of Live at Zomato, Chaitanya transformed how Indians experienced food culture, successfully hosting approximately 150,000 visitors in 2019 alone, featuring 300+ restaurants serving 370,000+ dishes, alongside stellar performances by artists like Badshah, Divine, Ritviz, Tanmay Bhat, and Kanan Gill. He also spearheaded the Zomato Feeding India Concert, combining experiential marketing with social impact to address India's zero hunger goal.

In 2023, Chaitanya founded Ninecamp Ventures, a hospitality company focused on delivering world-class dining and consumer products with emphasis on superior service, innovative design, and high-quality ingredients. Ninecamp secured $2 million in seed funding from prominent investors including Zomato co-founders Mohit and Gaurav Gupta, Honasa co-founders Ghazal and Varun Alagh, Cars24 co-founders, and PharmEasy co-founder Dharmil Sheth. The company launched its first restaurant, Marieta, in Gurugram in April 2023, followed by acclaimed ventures including Dear Donna and, most recently, Hikki, a modern Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in Delhi that showcases Nikkei cuisine and innovative cocktails.
